Born in 1964 at Mumbai, Prof. Percy Adil Pithawala is an architect, academic and artist with over 25 years of experience, interested in exploring influence of The Russian Avant-Garde. He graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from M.S. University of Baroda, India and further pursued a Master of Science degree in Urban Design from Pratt Institute, New York.
Over the years he has held numerous positions as a Principal, Academic Coordinator, Mentor and Adjunct Faculty at several leading academic Institutions. He has also been awarded prestigious national as well as International Design competitions.
He has a keen interest in exploring influence of The Russian Avant-Garde and has held several solo shows of his Artworks in India and abroad. He has founded The Red Studio in Baroda, India with an objective to encourage and further an inter disciplinary discourse in Art, Architecture and Design.
Prof Czaee, Malpani studied architecture at the TVB School of Habitat Studies, before going onto getting a dual masters, with a M.Arch + Ms.Arch degree from the the School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning at the University of Cincinnati,. She was awarded the best Research and the best Thesis Awards from both the programmes, respectively, for her theses which investigated the gendered underpinnings of Modernist Architectural Representations, questions of narratives and translations and the creation of masculine subjectivities. She continues to explore these research interests, through her own pursuits and her teaching engagements. As a practicing architect, she has had a wide field of experience, both nationally and internationally, working on a range of projects from Airports to Schools to Hotels and even designing one-room residences. She presently serves as the Deputy Director for the Jindal Centre for Social Design.
Dr. Krishna Kumar Dhote is Professor in Architecture and Planning at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. Graduate in Architecture, Master’s in Planning and his Doctoral thesis was on Urban Renewal. His area of interest in research are urban renewal and redevelopment, social implications of large scale interventions for urban poor, environmental improvement of slums and inclusive urban planners.
Ar Ajay Mittal has been associated with designing for the users and empathising with their needs and functional requirements. He has found a synergy between the two and amalgamated both fields in design rationale and design process in a better way.
He has expertise in not only conducting User Research, User Testing, UX workshops and building complex solutions but also in redefining the design processes and helping development teams to inculcate design as an important tool in their development processes. He specialises in User Experience Design, Concept Ideation and development, User Interface Design, User Testing, Design thinking process, Information architecture, Rapid Prototyping, User Research
Prof Richard Barraud is Visitng Professor at SPA,Delhi. He is well know for his documentation of Mughal architecture in Northern India .He has co authored “The complete Taj Mahal” and Riverfront gardens of Agra with Ebba Koch
