Dean, School of Technology and Engineering

As dean of the School of Technology and Engineering (SOTE), I feel privileged to lead a budding school involved in the transformation of young minds to responsible and educated global citizens, capable to shape a sustainable future.
Ever since it’s founding, our school has been a driving force for technology in the rural area in and around ITMBU. Our resolve is to serve the students from all walks of life. The school’s unique curriculum provides technology-based programs to match the ambitions and abilities of young and inquisitive minds.
Our mission is to train you as future leaders to make significant contributions in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, and chemical engineering, through diploma and degree programs. Whether you seek a diploma or bachelor’s degree, our programs are well equipped to prepare you for the 21st century.
We are also in the process of starting masters and doctoral programs meant for both academic and industry professionals.
As dean, my goal is to reiterate our commitment to innovation, research and entrepreneurship that will have a direct impact not only on our lives but also in our society, keeping sustainability at the center. We promote experiential learning which blends theory and practice.
Active MoU’s with renowned industries and foreign universities enables the students to opt for exposures beyond the school.
