I am Stalin Thomas, currently working as an Associate Tool and Die Specialist at Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin, Germany. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to ITM University, Vadodara, for laying the foundation of my career in mechanical engineering.
My journey began at ITM University in 2018, where I pursued my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering. The academic environment, practical exposure, and the continuous support from faculty members played a vital role in shaping my technical understanding and professional approach. The hands-on training, project work, and the focus on industry-relevant knowledge equipped me with the necessary skills and confidence to take the next steps in my career.
After completing my degree in 2022, I gained experience in the mechanical field, which helped strengthen my profile. Later, I was accepted into a Master’s program in International Technology Transfer in Germany, further expanding my knowledge and exposure to global industrial standards.
In July 2023, I joined Tesla as an Intern in the Tool and Die department at their Berlin Gigafactory. The foundation I received at ITM, combined with my experience, was instrumental in securing this opportunity. My performance during the internship led to my current full-time role as Associate Tool and Die Specialist.
Looking back, I can confidently say that my time at ITM University has had a lasting impact on both my academic and professional journey. I am proud to be an alumnus of this esteemed institution and remain grateful for everything it has contributed to my growth.
