Course Title : Department of Communication and Media Studies

The Department of Communication and Media Studies is pleased to introduce Value Added Courses (VAC) aimed at enhancing the professional, creative, and communication competencies of students across the university. Courses Offered

1. Introduction to Mass Communication

This course offers a comprehensive introduction to television and radio broadcasting, news presentation, anchoring, interviewing techniques, and programme presentation. Students will gain practical understanding of studio operations, media production processes, and communication practices through hands-on activities and educational visits to television and radio studios.

2. Graphic Designing & Editing

This course is designed to equip students with essential creative and digital media skills. It focuses on graphic design principles, visual communication, digital content creation, poster, and social media design, along with basic video editing techniques using contemporary digital tools and software.
