IQAC Quality Initiative Program

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of ITMBU has organised an expert session on “Quality Initiative Program” on 09-05-2025 between 3pm and 5pm in the university campus. The program has started with a keynote address by Director-IQAC emphasising on importance of quality and it’s accreditation in HEIs for national growth at larger context; and the session was opened to the expert speaker Prof.Vedhvyas J Dwivedi, Hon’ble Provost of ITMBU.

The session went on for more than an hour bringing valuable insights to all participants about initiation of quality in HEIs and new NAAC documentation processes. It has been a productive session as the participants gained enough knowledge and were getting prepared from the basics.
 
Finally, the session was concluded with vote of thanks.

Exclusive Series-1 : Curricula Design & Development

Day - 1

The Day-1 of the Exclusive Series-1 on “Curricula Design & Development” has started with a warm welcome to all participants from academic and administrative offices of the University.

the Director of IQAC with a short briefings on the NAAC accreditation process, that is, the Binary Accreditation Framework(BAF) highlighting the proposed 10 attributes in place of the previous 7 criteria; which are expected to be more of objective and AI based assessment, has lead the house towards strengthening the fundamentals of “Curricula Design & Development” through an interactive mode where the participants exchange their views and got convinced on fundamental elements about “Curricula Design & Development” including Vision, Mission, POs, PEOs, PSOs, PLOs, COs, CLOs, relation between contact hour(Chr) and credit hour(Crhr), their calculations.

During the second-half, the “Process of Designing a Curricula” was discussed in detail, clarifying the total credits requirement for award of a degree program emphasising on percentage distribution of credits for major courses, elective courses, minor courses, multidisciplinary courses including Mandatory and Non-credit courses were discussed.

With this, the Day-1 interactions of the Exclusive Series-1 comes to an end with a vote of thanks, to continue further in Day-2 of the Exclusive Series-1.
