BSc Nursing Course:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4-year degree program that prepares students to become professional nurses. At ITM (SLS) Baroda University, School of Nursing, we offer a comprehensive and advanced curriculum that combines theory with practical training. Some of the key features of our BSc Nursing course are:

Course Duration: 4 Years


Eligibility
: Candidates who have completed 10+2 in science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology theory and Practical & English also as compulsory subjects and a minimum of 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for General Category & 40 % for Reserved category (SC,ST & SEBC)



Curriculum
: The BSc Nursing curriculum includes subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Nutrition, and Community Health Nursing etc.


Clinical Training
: Clinical training is an integral part of the BSc Nursing curriculum. Students will undergo hands-on training in various areas such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing.


Internship
: Students must complete a mandatory 6-month internship

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM):

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a 3 year & 6 months course that trains students to become registered nurses. At ITM (SLS) Baroda University, School of Nursing, we offer a comprehensive and practical-oriented curriculum that prepares students to work in various healthcare settings. Some of the key features of our GNM course are:

Course Duration: 3 Years & 6 Months

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed 10+2 in any stream with English as a compulsory subject and a minimum of 40% aggregate marks are eligible to apply in general category & 35% for Reserved category (SC,ST & SEBC)

Curriculum: The GNM curriculum includes subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Nursing Foundations, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing.

Clinical Training: Clinical training is an integral part of the GNM curriculum. Students will undergo hands-on training in various areas such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing.

Internship: After completion of the 3 year course, students must complete a mandatory 6-month internship
